Here's another tale found on the fine public domain comic book archive comicbookplus. This is from the Winter 1949-50 issue of John Wayne Adventure Comics, published by the Toby Press. We are indebted to fan777 for uploading this one. The artist is not identified, but he did a pretty fair job on the Duke's face.
